I like the split fuselage technique. Makes it very simple to assemble. This is especially since the lower half fits perfectly to the fuselage under the wings.
The F-16A can also be loaded up with conventional free fall bombs where most of the later C versions tend to use smart or guided weapons. Or you can load it with AAM as an interceptor.
I know that you are keeping us in mind, those that like to enclose a landing gear. Since there are many F-16 models out there in 1/33 scale, I'm sure we can use those gear bay pieces scaled up to 1:30 to fit your design.
