This is excellent! You have done a lot of engineering on this kit. It has been a pleasure to follow your narrative and to see the images.
As I mentioned early on in your build, I have a fondness for this aircraft since I had a flight as a passenger in the US-3 version from Atsugi Naval Air Station in Japan to USS Carl Vinson and back in 1990, including one trap (carrier landing) and one cat (catapult launch). I even had the chance to sit in the right hand seat and handle the controls in flight.
