I was requested by a forum member to show some pictures of the CAP ARCONA model which is shown in the german naval museum (Deutsches Schiffahrtsmuseum - DSM). We agreed that it would be the best to share them with the hole community.
There is a model kit of the CAP ARCONA published by HMV, which is actually not available. The build seems not to be so easy but there are impressing pictures of that model in 1:250 scal build by Hanseat
here.
The DSM-model is impressing on its own because of its size. I forgot to find out its scale but it seems to be abut 1;50. I hope I can clarify this in a few weeks
So the first pictures are long shots from ahaed and the backside (I am sorry for the reflections but there are very large windows and severals lamps.):
