inspite this thread is rather »old« - nine years or so (A little eternity in the digital age)- there are indeed some news referring this model.
In 2017 the very last 20 copies were sold and there had been no plans to re-publish St. Paulus again.
But unexpectedly high demand lead into some efforts to prepare the model for
a new print-run in April 2018.
• a new test assembly was made (see attached picture)
• all the tiny mistakes were eliminated (only very few and nothing really important)
• a totally new base plate was added
• sheet format change from A3 (297 × 420 mm) down to A4 (210 × 297 mm) keeping the scale.
• re-arrangement of all parts to fit A4 format.
• design of a complete new assembly instruction, beeing the most time consuming effort, I have to confess.
Needless to say that this papermodel is produced in a traditional offset process.
As soon as the new edition is printed, I will allow myself to report it here; also, where you may order the model.
