I am definitely not saying no to a small hobby cutter.
I know that those who use them in paper modeling, seem to be having some success with them.

But, I have argued that the tedium and frustration of cutting out a lot of repetitive parts
is still part of the hobby, and part of the process.
The more elements of the paper crafting hobby that are removed,
the more you lose (of the paper crafting hobby).

So, I can't justify the price and the work for myself.

But, I recently added a section for "cutfiles" on my forum.
One of our members is using the Silhouette cutter with my Koolwheelz models and wants to share the cut files he is producing..

Its a lot of work to create a single page cut file...
maybe too much for a simple model like my Koolwheelz?
And just how many models will you build?
How many uses do you get out of that cut file?
This is why he wants to get more out of the work by sharing the files with our other members.

I think thats great.
And I think mechanical cutting would really benefit someone with limitations,
like limited movement, arthritis, etc
or someone who is real crap with a hand knife! lol
