You might be surprised to learn that I am not a particularly keen model-maker. As I get older, I get less patient and it is the prospect of seeing the new model materialise which drags me to the finish line when I am test-building a new design. I do absolutely love the design process especially when I hit a problem and have to resolve it by a process of gathering data and testing ideas. Wells will be a little different from usual inasmuch as I am slowly wrecking my eyesight and will have to draw everything three times normal size. This will give lovely crisp detail such as may be seen in the nave aisle walls of Ely and Beverley. Will be back soon with more. The biggest reward is seeing my model-kit being well made out there.
