I'm glad this one made the cut. I have a 3/4 completed USS Card (CVE-11) and a second kit I hope to build some day (having learned a few things from the first try). It would be nice to have the CVL and CVE-11 side by side some day.
I will be capturing your images and narrative for future reference.
