My latest addition from JSC arrived today,Andrea Doria and Stockholm together in one model at usual 1;400 scale as waterline models.First up option is there for 3 models as hull sides are also included for Cristoforo Colombo-sister ship of Doria.Laser cut parts for crew,passengers,deck furniture and railings can be bought from JSC at their site.I choose not to use these but option is there.
Parts are laid out well over 16 pages at a4 size,239 parts for doria and 153 for stockholm,Hull construction uses normal JSC methods.There are 12 pages in english and polish for instructions and also photos and diagrams.Modelcover art is by Grzgorz Nawrocki,polish maritime artist.Model is designed by Jan Schmidt.

Wont go into the actual incident as there is plenty info out there if anyone wants to look for it.Nice little post note to this story is that Stockolm was still in service up till this year in many guises despite much reconstruction .She came to fame again in 2008 having been attacked by pirates in gulf of aden.She is the longest serving transatlantic liner in history.
