The beginning of June found me traveling to Chicago for the weekend with my wife and oldest grandson to visit my brother and attend certain concert activities at soldier field. Anyway I have made more progress this week on this project.
I finished up the port side details which all fit decently and switched sides to the starboard side.
This side is not cooperating quite as nicely. The fore walkway is too short for the railing provided and does not match the contour of the port side because of it. I had two choices: extend the floor or shorten the rail. I chose the later.
As I moved aft, fit of the main box structures attached to the deck still presented fit problems and much coaxing, ca gluing and cussing ensued to get a decent look. I have one more main assembly to go here and hope it end better than it started.
