Any chance to see the scan or just a photo of that postcard with Jim Clark car?
Lucky You.
I always remembered F1 from Matchbox or Majorette catalogues.
There was a poster hung by my father, perhaps of a Ferrari, I don't remember.
But when I saw The Rush…
Man, the nostalgy kick big time

I asked because I think some of your build might be better if you use paper that is a bit stiffer, like cardstock.
The area around the cockpit is a bit rough, and I think its because the paper is too thin.
But you say you are using 80g and 160g...so maybe I am wrong.
I will try to find some of the old postcards I have...I have a very large collection of postcards and photos in storage,
but it is not properly organized.
I started watching F1 around the time of Nikki Lauda and James Hunt...
and then Nigel Mansell, Nelson Piquet and Alain Prost.
I especially loved the period when James Hunt was commentating.
So the movie Rush was very nostalgic for me too!
But this earlier period of Jim Clark, Graham Hill and Jackie Stewart...is a very special time.
