I do love this plane and the recolor is pretty amazing.
Matt77: I'm glad I'm not the only one. I too think things are not quite right. I ended up cutting the skins in several places and I got an acceptable finish but still not perfect. Like I said, it helped to build the WAK kit version first and so yours is coming together a bit neater. Just takes care and fiddling.
I think your cowling fix looks possible but it may require several pieces of paper. I like your quick and dirty fix, though!
Your model cowl looks more realistic than mine (guns etc.).
