DD-850 update
Hi All;
Looked over the problem with the computer difficulty and managed to rescue eleven out of twenty pages. Have solved the difficulty of fixing the scale of the remainder and set down the base of the Mk IV version, which will be the final job.
Decided to finish the small parts of the Mk III since it was so far along. That will solve any proportion difficulties with the later job. Repositioned the cable reels and managed to get the forward king posts in place. In 1963 most of the FRAM I's off Cuba did their replenishment from the port side of the ship. Hence the taller king post. Also got the anchors in place. Will probably replace the card chain with metal on the final version. Drawing of the DASH is under way, but the decision whether to use it or not can be held off until the last.
