Which model are you building here? I'm a bit thrown by your comment about 'everything being but join' . Are you scratch building your own design, or have you just opted to butt join by personal preference? The model I'm seeing (from Domatine.com) has tabs galore, but though it would undoubtedly be improved by butt joining, might I suggest that seam backing tapes may help the construction?
