There are a few important differences between the redrawing and its original counterpart. One difference worth mentioning is related to fitment of parts. The software I'm using (XaraX) can be very useful in these cases. Since almost all handmade models have some mistakes, I use the already mentioned software to leave all parts symmetrical, something like that mirror drawing technique... and... voila!

The mirror drawing (or redrawing) technique can be applied to all those beautifully inaccurate models out there, if you know what I mean hehehe :P
