Cool Engine nacelle- part 1

The engines are podded in nacelles the same way as the Me-262. However, they are not identical.

The construction of the nacelle is the same as the fuselage; frames inside and external surfaces over it. However, I will use the same method as the fuselage and add glue tabs and modify the frames.

Here are the kit parts

the kit surfaces have no glue tabs


I printed a second set of nacelles on thin and card paper and used those parts to form the glue tabs ( the curved section used thin tabs and the rest used the card ).

glue the forward skins together and slide dry fit over the frame

add the exhaust nozzle onto the rear frame

use Yoav's technique to keep the exhaust part round

build the aft nacelle

now cut the inner frame in half as shown ( you will see why later )

assemble the forward and aft nacelle halves. No frames used yet.
