When I did mine in 1/144th scale for a good friend now passed away...I left out the former parts and "winged" it on the assembly. Curving each part and butt edged the segments.
Found out on a white beta test and when I printed it on silver gift wrap it's VERY easy to get the front cowlings mixed up between left and right. Hence, do each of the boom/engines one at a time
Also for reality, don't forget that the propellers counter rotate.
