A $20 all in one, no matter the brand, is not going to have the features of a mainstream printer, regardless of the brand.
In the printer preferences of my $50 Canon, "borderless" is found as a checkbox on both the quick setup and page setup tabs. Give the suggestions to set the margins to 0.00 a try. But, I'm guessing that half an inch at the bottom of the page is for mechanical reasons. Just like most any brand back in the '90's.
