So I was chatting with some individuals a couple of weeks ago and they asked me to write down my through process when I'm building or designing a paper model and asked a few more questions. I made some flippant comment along the lines of "I might as well just write a book." And they replied back with, "Yes, do that instead."
I mentioned this over in the
narcissus design thread.
So I've started to write up a bunch of the techniques I use for making and designing models. I want the first section to be fore people who are new to the hobby... what are the basics you need to make something look nice. The second section will be more advanced building techniques and the last section will be design considerations and the thought process that goes into it.
I have a sizable outline and 24 pages written so far. Are there any topics you think should be included that I don't have on my list so far?
Here is the link to the
outline.
And I'm going to distribute the book for free like the model's I've designed.
