This could be really great!

I might suggest something though. I think there's a small stage missing between "intro" and "building" (which some might consider the most fun.) Research!

I guess it all depends on how crazy one wants to get with all this, but here goes. The following is only a suggestion -- this is your book.

Research:
  • has anyone already built a paper model of it?
    • a model exists, but what will your version contribute?
      • level of detail (who is this model for?)
      • drawn detail vs physical detail
      • coloration and shading
  • identify different versions of your subject
    • company's first prototype
    • first released version
    • later revisions
    • which one should you build?
  • images
    • sources (manufacturer, client company, social media accounts)
    • undistorting images
    • color correction (white balance)
    • plan views (front, side, top, etc.)
    • small details
  • videos
    • youtube, vimeo, etc. (both official and fan accounts)
    • still frame capture
    • undistorting still frames
  • company sell sheets and other materials (pdf)
    • plan views
    • scale information
    • logos
  • colors
    • color correction (white balance)
    • color systems for designers (Pantone, RAL, Federal Standard, etc.)
  • textures
  • knowing when to stop your research!

I might also suggest the addition of "hair clips" to the "Advanced tools" category.

There's also the matter of licensing for the paper model -- like Creative Commons.

Anyway, you're off to a good start!

Cheers!
