Talking Dewoitine D.510 in 1/100

Our forum friends Criquet & Rata have joined forces to bring the Dewoitine D.500 series to paper. This is Rata's first attempt at repainting and he has asked me to do a beta build for him. I have made pretty good progress so far. This kit has a "Zio Prudenziata" flavor to it which is different than what we are used to.

I found Criquet's site on the interwebs a month or so ago and it is a fascinating site with many unknown (at least to me) French aerioplanes.

The Dewoitine D.500 series was developed in the very early 1930's and used for a short time as France's front line fighter force. By September 1939 it was obsolete but still in use in a few second line squadrons. These little guys had that Gallic flair for markings. They were also used by quite a few foreign air forces so we should be seeing quite a few neatly marked aircraft coming from the Criquet / Rata works soon.
