The pictures show the wing skin assembly sequence. As in the Mk.IXc, I put the whole lower skin parts together, along with the landing gear wells and the radiators before applying the whole thing to the wing structure. The gluing work was done in two main steps: first, glue the center section and, second, the outer panels. Aligning the center section is almost automatic. If the tips get aligned (and that’s easy to check with both structure and lower skin complete), the center section can only take the proper place. You know, the results of an interpolation are generally more reliable than those of an extrapolation…
