Lufthansa DC-2.A bit of a recolor since original D-ARPF markings Aaron used and black panels on center part of wing belong on DC-3,not DC-2.
Original DC-2 plane stared out as Czech OK-AIB ,it flew with Czechoslovak airline until mid 1939 when it stated service with Lufthansa as D-AAIB.It was one of 3 DC-2s taken over by Germany after take over.It flew with lufthansa until March of 1941 when it was sold to Aero Oy Finnish airline and it flew with them for a while as OH-DLA.Some time later Ilmavoimat took it over and flew it as DO-2 until spares run out.
Problem free model,this time printed on recycled printer I pulled out from scrap heap.It had B&W cartridge working but color capability is gone so I printed it in grayscale hence grey windows.Fin flash was printed in laser along with Dutch Buffalo.I wonder who recognizes those crosses on tail fin.Model of course comes with standard swastika as well.
I'm thinking of doing OK-AIB,OH-LDA and DO-2 as well as LOT version.I did a generic aluminium version so it can be re-marked into many other liveries.Both versions have been send to Aaron so I hope you can enjoy them too.
