Angraf M1070 and M1000 1:25

Just arrived today, I can't wait to get stuck into this. This is the main component of my next project, after the Scud is finished. This kit consists of the M1070 Oshkosh truck and an M1000 Heavy Equipment trailer. The US Military, and various other armies, use these to transport heavy tanks into and out of the battlefield.

I will be building this with a payload and one or more escort vehicles, yet to be finalized although I have 2 more kits on the way.

This is one page of wheel and tyre parts for the trailer, there are 5 pages of these... Let's see if I still enjoy making wheels after this one.

I've never built an Angraf kit and have read mixed reviews on accuracy and fit etc, so this will be interesting to say the least, print quality looks good, the kit arrived in excellent condition, I have also purchased laser cut parts. The kit looks to have way more small detailed parts than I was expecting, other than rivets, I can't see much need for me to be adding more when I build it. The kit is almost completely one colour, however it doesn't look to be the correct colour for desert cammo. This is not a huge issue for me as I will be painting and weathering the entire model.

Needless to say, my fingers are already thanking me for buying the laser parts, I'm also very glad I bought the thinnerline circle cutter as between the truck and trailer there are 52 wheels and tyres.
