Good news for you Les,
The example IS the model in scale 1:4.........! ;-)
Why I wrote "scale 1:10", I have no idea. The Minisat model measures 6 cm in diameter, which is 1/4 the diameter of the real thing. If you
include some other external parts, it's +- 26 cm, give or take a few millimeters.
Tomorrow I am going to pick up my order of 90 (yep....ninety !!) sheets of A3 and A4 paper. Two of those are the Pioneer 4 Minisat model.
I'll be busy for the next couple of days. That's for sure............
Les....... I DO expect you to download AND build the model. Ofcourse.......!!?? }-)
I will add several models, this year. One of them has only two parts. Just a fun thing. Nothing special. I saw a nice picture and decided to
make a model of it.
Two very colorful Brasilian rockets will be added, the Russian Lunokhod, a Titan IIIE Centaur, PFS-1, and - finally - MaSat-1 in scale 1:1.
Oh..... and most parts of Pioneer 4 have been drawn and printed. I can't wait to start building and post a few pictures.
Considering the number of parts I'll be busy for a looooooooong time.....
