Revisiting my old thread on Kancho's B5N2 USAEC B5N2 Kate I rediscovered some research that indicates that this aluminum livery was used by Fuchida during practice runs for greater visibility. The fuselage was painted green for the actual attack. I never glued my model to it's base, as I intended to build it again with attack livery by borrowing bits from the other liveries in the zip file. Fuselage would be green with a red band outlined in white towards the rear end of the plane, horizontal stabilizer red, vertical stabilizer yellow/red stripes. I never got around to the rebuild, but I still have the model and base, so who knows - I might get to it yet.
