F-14 S&P 1/100 pt
Been awhile since scissors met paper, work life etc. but thought my 2nd favorite jet should be started on for the winter season, the F-14 tomcat.
I saw these things first in '75 when the flew cap for the Enterprise over the nam. weird looking, they seemed like ufos compared to the phantoms, a6s and such. Later, much much later, airfix released the wolfpack colored F-14 in 1/72 scale. I bought it, botched it, but came out ok and became my 2nd fav jet behind my revel 1/32 scale phantom.
Well our friend Bruno released a slew of these and the wolfpack became the first of a few to be worked on.
It is a complex design but after a few false starts is coming around. Bruno has not included launch rails so these were scratch built and will be released pending his blessings and a place to send them. Here are a few mark 2 pics of the rails, and the aft section, which will not be the final build...
