I guess it's not an easy model, in fact it's even more difficult than the Ronchamps chapel, which I also did from CANON.
However there are tricks to finish it quite well

It is very important to follow the assembly order exactly
The type of glue is also important, not all are of the same drying time
I use white glue for wood and paper; slow and fast drying
