@ Erik - I love trains
They often lend themselves well to be modeled in paper. You know that I like to build the kits using almost no "extras". It might work better for aircraft and architecture subjects but Modelik's trains, built this simple way, often yield very interesting models.
@ Olo - Most of the tools are shown in the attached picture. For small diameters, the red punchers give good results. The rivets come out slightly bulged, which is good if they are not glued upside down
