Robotime
I made the fatal error of visiting a local shop that sells mainly kits of all mediums. The shop is whirligig toys. Some I've bought were very good, but some are very bad. Their series of 3D trains are the best of this type of kit.
This time I found a series of DIY rooms by a company "Robotime" Mixed medium is a good description because the kits have lighting card, plastic and material to name a few.
Robotime have their own website that has a wide variety of things from musical boxes to model garden sheds. I now have a book shop to look forward to for my birthday!
