The 1mm tool I have works properly. The rivets won’t go out by themselves, one by one, but if I cut more, the first pop out and the process can go on indefinitely. In the 1,5mm tool, they simply get stuck inside, making cutting impossible. I can cut two and force them out with a wire bit. With three, the friction is too high. Fortunately, I have another tool for those ones...
The pictures show the wheels at several assembly stages. You can see the spacers between the formers and the card jig used as a template to assemble the spokes.
