Thanks Don, for the movie links and memories around the Martin M-130. Curious how some of the flying boats became movie stars themselves, as in "Flying Down to Rio" and Sikorsky S-40. I could not help noticing that in one bit in "China Clipper trailer, there is a stunt double aircraft. At 22" the Sikorsky S-42 appears, in a head on shot (four motors, high wing on pylon, and twin tails). Maybe a little short of Clipper action footage in the editing room?
