Thanks for the explanation CMDRTED.

Here's the little WIP update. I've started working on the first parts - decks. After examining pictures from 1944 I noticed that BB-46 didn't have those "balconies" with AA weapons on the deck at that time. My blueprints show Maryland in 1945 so I had to make little corrections.
I marked these "balconies" on one photo.

Tomorrow I'll try to cut lines on these decks to make planks visible.
