Constructing the deformed Spirit of St Louis:
Straight wire reinforced struts and prop blade held in place by tape then
coated with Krylon Acrylic clear gloss.
A dowel through the straight wing was a handy helper.
Burnished wing ribs, tail structure, and fuselage stringers.
Base: top and bottom discs glued to cereal box cardboard for reinforcement.
