I decided to vacuform a whole new nose section that will emulate the real RADOM on the aircraft. It will attach to the cylindrical section that also houses the cockpit.
However, I need to make a plug first.
My first option is to make a plug like I do for my canopies and use a plaster of Paris for the material.
So....
I used the test piece and filled it with the plaster mix.
oops, the paper could not handle the wet plaster because I did not re enforce the paper part and the whole thing collapsed.
Oh, well, that was a good try.
I will try something else to make the plug.
