It's laser printed on coated paper(something like the paper used in Halinski's older models). I can't remember the weight but I'll try to find this information and let you know. But now, when I build this Texan I know I've chosen a bit too thick paper.
Your last question is a question to me or a rhetorical one? I don't really get it. What do you mean exactly?
