The rules of the contest state that in order to be considered I have to see a colored 3-view of your proposed scheme. Not being very well read about the P-47 I don't know what that Boars head looks like.
In other news the design is coming much more slowly than I would like. My need to get things to look right is again slowing me down. I think things will go more quickly once I finish the super charger intake. Beleive it or not there is some fairly complex curvature going on down there and I want to make it look good as well as accurate (given the extraordinarily scant reference material). I spent a fair amount of time on it yesterday and finally figured out how I want to do it. But unfortunately doing it going to take a little time as well.
Edit: SteveO I didn't see the II after thunderbolt in your post, sorry. Going back to the rules you have to submit a 3view. Show me how you think it should look.
