@ Isaac – the cowl has a very wide “mouth” and the engine should be visible. You know that I almost invariably make detachable cowls, as some radial engines get almost hidden. The Ki-43 and the Ki-84 are good examples. In the Sea Gladiator, every engine cylinder links to the cowl with a pair of pipes. Access panels behind those pipes could be left open but there are also links between the engine hub and the cowl. Hmmm, not easy…


The skin parts at the wing roots have odd shapes and fit very well. I made a dry fit test to the fuselage, with very positive results!
