After a break to build a few "easier" projects, I have returned to this one.
Part 71 - tanks
Actually built these up before my break. I don't really remember any specific issues with them though. Still need to mount the under floor supports before installing the actual cab floor.
Part 72 - cab body side and cowl panels.
So the inner panel piece 72b does not exist. Since I figured that the wall thickness should be a bit more than one layer of card, I laminated a piece of black construction paper to the backside of 72a. The remaining components fit fine.
Part 73 - turn indicators
no major problems other than the boxes holding the pendants have the inner and outer pieces reversed.
Part 74 - Cab floors
As indicated previously, I do not like the printed diamond plate on the original parts. Nothing looks like diamond plate other than diamond plate. So I used some photoetched brass plate (link in previous post) to replace the original. One of the really nice things about this plate is that it is just a touch thicker (0.29 mm) than the original part (0.25 mm). This means I could use the original bottom piece and just glue the new pieces in as direct replacements.
