And now that I see the 'V8' logo better, I can understand its a Ford.

I actually agree with that Dev.
So called 'first hand' knowledge is usually flawed.

Thats why I like photos!

But, in this case, I didn't pay enough attention to photos it seems.
First, I start designing a Ford using lots of Chevrolet reference photos.
[In my defense, it was pointed out to me 'the differences between the Ford and Chevy bodies...' which were very basic and easy to spot.
But it turns out the differences in the Chassis were a lot more complicated!]

And I ignored the issue of the Tires in favour of what I had already successfully built.

But some Dev's get it wrong too
I play World of Warships, and I am constantly annoyed by the lack of realism in a supposedly 'realistic simulation'.
The boats in this game span the early half of the 20th century.
They put a lot of effort and noise around the research and efforts to recreate historic warships from that period
but then go treat it like an arcade game.
Destroyers are the worst example...the bane of every Battleship driver (in the game).

In real life, these Destroyers carried 4-8, maybe 12 max., Torpedoes in total.
And if they did have enough for a reload, it took 30-60 minutes to effect that reload.
In the game, however, most Destroyers can volley a dozen torpedoes at once (its called torp soup)
and can reload (in about 60 seconds) unlimited times during a 20 minute match.

So yeah, I wish, Devs would say 'because it wasn't there!'.
Without detailing the excitement of databases & Hollywood wow factor in games:-
(effort/perceived reward) x (target market/devs caliber) = end product

Good to see the iconic FAT with any tires & nice to be able to put mixed tires on to show the fortunes of war.
So....the on-road tires will be a supplement eh?
