Sometimes they fit bang on,sometimes not so much.Matter of luck I guess.
What helps me a lot is use of water based white glue of right consistency.Correct one will soften edge of paper just enough to "melt' right in place.
BTW-model on pictures shows one of machines transferred from Lufthansa to Luftwaffe.
All of those machines were refited for trainers and stayed in Lufthansa grey/silver dope until major overhaul or accidents.Lots of them were grey till end of their life.
