According to your measurements, Butelczynski, the model should be in the scale of about 1/33.
If you shrank the original templates to 71% and got a wingspan of 12.5 inches (the real thing got 47 ft 7 in = 571 inches) then the model you have just built is 1/46. Thus the original scale of the model as designed by Murph should be about 1/33.
