NDL Bremen, 1928, Schreiber-Bogen 1/400

So today would be 91 years since Bremen was launched. Not sure I'm doing her justice but...

Started on 4 June. Ran into the same below-the-waterline hull plating issues that user modelperry ran into...and yes it 'looks like poo' to me too. I didn't find out that the instruction 'parts to be assemled in numerical order' wasn't to be strictly adhered to until after I had the above-the-waterline hull plated. Have made some changes too in order to make it appear more true to the prototype: the model's stern has a pretty spoon shape that doesn't match Bremen's coming to a point, the forecastle foreward of the wave break is unplanked, the model misses the structure at the very tip of the bow...

Not to complain, mind you, just things I've noticed. Am concerned now wether C- and B-Decks aft will lay more flatly when I add in the railings etc...right now they are very wavey, unshiplike...not sure if i used too much glue, didnt cut the deckhouses there accurately enough, or some combination. Newbie here☺

Hope all is well by you all. To any and all NDL fans, a very sincere Entschuldigung for what I may have done to the ship, feel a little bit like that well-meaning Spanish lady who ruined a Renaissance painting a few years back...
