Even though it has some framework and square edges, the canopy on the Ki-27 is I guess a typical tear-drop affair. Study your references and in this case you'll find (as often is the case) the forward part has squared off edges. You can see in the photos I've lightly scored partially along the length two lines to assist in getting the shape. I've seen a lot of built canopies (and fuselages for that matter) with rounded edges where they shouldn't be- study those drawings and photos!
The joiner tabs Bruno provides on his canopies is in most cases perfect to get the required shape. Any tabs on square edges I pre-bend with tweezers. Then using something suitable like a paint brush handle, lightly pre-shape the canopy. It makes lining up and gluing those tabs that much easier. I've found in 9 out of 10 cases it's best to leave the most rearward 'point' of a teardrop canopy till it's actually on the model. Way too often if I've done it first, I've ended up with a Concorde nose type downward 'beak' that's very hard get to sit on the fuselage correctly.
As always, starting at the front, glue little bits at a time always checking for straightness and squareness.
The Ki-27 had quite a slender fuselage and you can see in the last pic that Master Bruno has got it pretty spot-on.
