I meant diameter when I was reffering to formers. I'm not sure about percents but if you reduce diameters of formers by 1.5-2mm you'll certainly have less work. That's for sure.
Your second question, about parts diameters. You mean those of fabric covering? Well, they're not perfect. Some fit great, some are slightly smaller or bigger but this is not a huge problem. You can adjust them quite easily.
Honestly, even with all its flaws, it's worth to build this kit because it's uncensored and has quite accurate colors.
Like always, I'll put a wood varnish on it at the end, so it should look way better with a little glossy surface.
