I used a thinner paper. The one I use for most of my models would not allow me to reach the point I reached.
Here, the scale was the biggest problem. DC-3 is not a huge aircraft and in 1/477 it's incredibly tiny...
All those parts are just too small to manipulate comfortably and precisely.

It's not my first DC-3 from free S&P package. I did one in 1/160(perfect scale for Bruno's free S&P model; came out excellent) and one in 1/100(a little too simplified for this scale; average result)
