Using ship kind of framing can make sense with some very rare and complicated models.My jaw dropped some time ago when someone designed SU-7 with this kind of frame.Su-7 has even simpler tube fuselage than Hunter.Art for the sake of art?
My first clash with that idea was very old Maly Modelarz Ki-43 Hayabusa.It was horrible to build,heavy from so much card,twisted and impossible to finish.I sold of my Defiant designed the same way after that .
