M-1978 Koksan (scratch project)

I haven't built anything from scratch for a pretty long time but today I decided to start something. And what's more, you will even see some first serious progress in this first post.

Ok, let's talk about the subject. It's a North Korean self-propelled artillery M-1978 Koksan. Not much is known about it, it's still kept in secret, like the rest of NK equipment. What we know for sure is that it's based on T-54/55 or Type 59 tank and it's armed with 170mm gun.
For the first time, this artillery was spotted in 1978 in Koksan, North Korea(hence it's designation M-1978 Koksan).
The gun has a range that would allow it to strike Seoul from the DMZ.

My model will be in 1/50 scale because it's not too huge and not too small. I want to make it quite detailed and maybe even with some movable elements as well.
So far I've got the hull. It's taken from the free 1/100 T-54/55 by PRmodels. Obviously it's resized and reinforced with cardboard.
