F-9F Panther development part 1
After ww2 amd capture of Germany , a lot of secret material was taken by the alies and companies started to design their next jets. The Grumman company designed a plane that was called F-9F-2 Panther with a centrifugal jet engine that gave speed in exess of 950 kph and climb of 6000 fpm.
Landings trials opun cariers proved successful after few modifications and the type was ready for the Korean war just in time !
