The trick is (real WS) and (model WS) must be in the same units: inches, etc.
Then scale = 1/X.
If you do not understand, measure and post the model wingspan (with units) and I will calculate the scale for you.

Oh I know how to figure it out, it was more of just an attention getting title lol. I've since given the model to my friend and never measured it, guess the world will never know what scale it ended up being haha.
