Ejection seat
The ejection seat is a nicely detailed part of the model. A bit of a challenge is the curved back and back rest, which needs to be reinforced by a pad of 1mm cardboard. To make the cardboard more flexible I made cuts on both sides, pushed it into an S-curve and then glued it as filler in the back cushion. The green oxygen bottle is made of a piece of plastic rod, diameter 1.2mm.
I detailed the straps based on internet pictures of the ejection seat and used the launch rails of the GPM model for extra detailing.
Here and there a few more details to the instrument panel and I used clear gloss paint to highlight the dial and scopes. Finally, the seat in place and in between also the gun details.
